CLIMATE CHANGE
Climate change is a change in statistical distribution of weather patterns when that change lasts for a period of time. Climate change may refer to a change in average weather conditions or a change in the distribution of weather events ( more or less occurring ). Climate change is caused by trapping excess carbon in Earths's atmosphere. This trapped carbon then heats up, changing the Earths climate patterns as it does. When carbon emissions are released into the air they have dangerous and negative effects on the environment, economy and welbeing or all organisms.
This is effecting our climate as its getting warmer, this is because the earths atmosphere has evolved to retain a sufficient and appropriate warmth to help provide us with a healthy, dynamic ecosystem. This is changing as the huge amounts of excess pollutants is staring to thicken this blanket of protective gases, causing heat to be and remain trapped within. It is believed that these gases have the ability to remain in our atmosphere for up to 90 years meaning there will be long term warming of the atmosphere and climate.
